Batteries charged but cart won't run
have an 86 ParCar 36-volt - when in fwd or reverse I step on the gas, the motor clicks, it kicks in for a couple seconds and I go about 2 feet - then nothing. I thought it was completely dead batteries because my standard charger would not charge them. I used a standard 12-volt charger & charged them fully in 3 groups of 2 - same result. 36-volt charger won't kick in (tested on another cart & it works fine), engine clicks and pushed me a couple feet.
I thoroughly checked the cart for blown fuses, loose wires, etc. The only thing I can think of is I have 4 Exide gc-110 batteries and two Costco 6-volt 'golf cart' batteries mixed in the battery configuration. It ran fine for 2 days after installing them, but now it is dead. Any ideas? I am completely stumped...thanks in advance |

Re: Batteries charged but cart won't run
golf carts need golf cart batteries
more than likely one or more of your batteries are bad check voltage on the entire pack , then each battery post results |
