Re: purchase umax spring
Well I switched from B-3 to B-4.
I saw no improvement, if anything it went the opposite way. Definitely is Not as fast on top end, which I don’t care but it’s very noticeable. Does Not appear to have gained anything on low end, not sure it didn’t lose some but definitely didn’t gain however going down the hill on my trail I noticed if I stop the cart will hold itself, so it’s obviously changed there, yesterday it would creep slowly down until it picked up a little speed then you could feel it “shift”? This all without giving it any gas. It’s a long gradual steep hill. So anyways, back to B-3 and leaving it I guess, unless I find out there’s a A or C setting that does something. |

Re: purchase umax spring
Compared to shaving sheaves and removing washers the belt is a mere 1/16th of an inch wider.Really don't see much difference in how it sits in the secondary. I think more of the gains are due to the wider belt riding higher in the primary giving you more over drive. On page 36 of my Vc 460 build is a pic showing the HPX 2248 1 1/4 " belt. It sits well down in the primary and just the cogs protrude over the secondary.
