Default 2006 Sport 2+2 smoke on start

Occasionally I get a bit of blue smoke when I first start the cart. Not always but it's not pretty and smells like burnt oil when it happens. Does this indicate worn valve stem seals? If not ???

Doesn't use oil and doesn't smoke at any other time.

Thanks

Valve stem seals would be first suspect, not familiar with the engine you are running. Is that a Kawasaki? Can't remember when they went KAW. Is it a pushrod engine or overhead cam? Could also be worn valve guides and blowby. How many hours are on the engine?

If it's the Robin 295 or 350 it's OHC, they are notorious for oiling issues. Changing the oil frequently is the only way I know to keep them clean and trouble free, but eventually they all go.

Pre Kawasaki. 350 Robin? Overhead cam. Approximately 350 hours.

What oil do you run?

How frequently do you change oil?

Not sure about the oil. Had it changed at a local cart repair place. Oil has about 30 hours on it.

Ask the cart shop how much oil they put in it . Not sure about the factory lift . I do know if I lift one I got to measure exactly 1.5 quarts when I change oil. Otherwise it is overfilled if I add oil to full mark on stick.
