Default won' turn over

Buddies ezgo has run fine for couple months.

Drove it in the feild the other day went to restart and mothing.

Checked power to starter and when you hit the pedal the starter has power to it via test light.

Do you think the starter is done for or something else???

Thanks
Jamie

If you have power going to the starter and it's not turning, I would say the problem is with the starter, connections or the brushes in the starter.

The starter could be getting power, maybe just not enough to turn it over, but enough to light the light bulb. Make sure the battery has over 12V of charge. It may be able to light the bulb, but not have the juice to turn the engine over. Did you try to take the belt off the pulley and see if it will spin? If not, then I would go with brushes.

Did you ever pull the covers off the starter and look at the brushes?
