Unfortunately, it appears that Tank already sold his EZ-GO 4 cycle engine.

I am still considering a rebuilt one from that place in Georgia, but I am also looking for any used one that might get my guy to rip & replace from an old cart.

Are there golf cart salvage yards?

Not sure about cart salvage yards but you may find that some local dealers have a "bone yard" that they have out back to pull old parts from.

I just replaced my engine, and have a 295cc engine available for sale. It ran great, it just used a little oil & smoked... I think the only thing it would need would be new rings...

1997 - it ran fine, just burned oil & smoked a little... I did a close up video of the engine running while still in the cart, and then had my wife video me driving the cart around so I could show a perspective buyer... I can e-mail you the video if you'd like to see it...

Bingo!

You will not know what you have, until you know what you have.

Basically you have to tear it down and take a peek at it. You will know real quick if it is trash or treasure.

You should look at this differently than you are. You now have the opportunity to build a more durable power plant.
