Yea, I saw yours. I am still considering installing my speakers where you did. They would be closer to my kids so they could hear w/o me having to turn it up so loud. We will see.

I have the switch installed, iPhone connection ran and battery mounted. Next is speaker installation. Then I can wire it up and tidy up the wires in the battery compartment.

Build boxes like I did. I just made card board template to make sure box was as big as possible and still fitted between the seat cushions and did not have interference since I had 2 speakers in each box. Had it all summer and still love the setup plus you still have your dash space.
