(Black #10 to from charger plug battery negative; cut gray wire , splice to yellow at solenoid and connect to battery negative..)
Actually, I would think that the #10 black should go to new lithium charger??
Thanks

You won't need that wire, nor the charger receptacle for your new charger. That just plugs into a 120 volt outlet.

The black wire from the charger receptacle was normally cut at the obc and run to pack negative in situations where a smart charger was connected to the old charger receptacle.

Would you guys recommend a kit like this? https://www.ebay.com/itm/39249848559...gAAOSwyAJdshbH

I am just thinking once the wires are cut - they are cut. But if a kit is used, then OBC can be removed and saved if it is needed later or can be sold? Assuming once the wires are cut, OBC is useless?

Try to sell it to someone on BGW. Someone is often looking for them If you get a smart charger, you won't ever need it again and believe me, won't be sad that it's gone. Just remember to cut and splice the white and blue wires together on the opposite side of the OBC if you are going to sell it.

That kit is a bit overpriced....by maybe $88.00.
