lift kits?
i have a 90 club car.. i put in a vegas carts 460cc and now i want to lift it.. i dont have rims and tires yet (kinda doing things in stages) i wanted to put on a jakes 4in double arm. what is the difference between a jakes and others. i noticed others are alot cheaper money wise but are they as good? anyone have pictures you want to share? anyone done this and there is something i need to be aware of? comments are very welcome.. i always have a hard time making a decision so please let me know..

I highly recommend the Allsports Super Sport 6" double A-Arm kit (see picture in my signature below). I've had mine on for almost 4 years and it's been great on my frequently-used cart.

I like the all sports also the four u bolts on the rear axle is a big plus in my book.

ok springbok i was going threw your pictures and i like the way it looks. i was going to go 4 but your 6 inch looks good.... I was afraid it would be to tall...whats the rims and tires on yours?

Actually, my Allsports Super Sport lift came with just the two u-bolts (the ones that mount diagonally over each leaf on each side). Would have preferred the 4-bolt setup, but haven't had any issues.

Club Car 3" lift with 12" wheels and 23" tires. Been on there for 7 years with no issues.
I also put a 4" All Sports lift in my Precedent that is a real nice Lift kit. That car has 12" wheels with 20.5" tires. Just another .02 or .04 I guess, for you to ponder. Good luck with your decision. Aflyer |
