Changing oil in rear end ?
How would one go to change oil in the rear end of a 98 Club Car?
From what I understand 80-90w oil should be used? Is there a bolt to drain and another to refill? Thanks |

Re: Changing oil in rear end ?
The factory fill is 22oz. of 30wt. engine oil... I refilled the axle in Ike with 15W50 Mobil1 synthetic.. Here's a pic of the differential case when I was reassembling Ike's axle.. The drain and the fill/level plugs are located on the driver's side of the housing..

The pic CC-John had was a little hard to decifer where the fill, and drain bolts were... I added my gasser pic so that LIVIN can have a general idea of what to look for! (But, on the drivers side) there were no pics in my manuals for the electric transaxle showing the fill and drain plugs. it just says to use 30 SAE motor oil! |
