club car will idle, but won't run higher RPM

my dad gave me a 2006 club car ds. It was given to him. he was told just needed a fuel pump. unknown last time it ran and has been sitting. believe dad had it for about 2 years just sitting

would turn over and try to start. is where I started on this journey to date.

changed fuel pump. NEGRES. (pump does flow when disconnected from carb)
New spark plug
new air filter
new fuel filters
new fuel lines
fresh gas
new carburetor
redid all grounds
fresh oil and filter
adjusted valves
checked spark
compression 165/170
disconnected rev limiter for now

now I can get it to idle when I manually control the carb. but as I give it more, it wants to stall

tried searching the forum for more ideas. only other thing I can see would be the coil is weak. But figured I would check with the vast knowledge of cartly things to see if there is something I overlooked.

How does it react when you choke it. Does it stay running?

doesn't really change much. if anything seems to stall it out

Try spraying carb cleaner around the carb while running. Don't spray into the air cleaner. Make sure all hoses are connected to the air cleaner. If the motor races while spraying it is drawing air in from some where other than the air box. If it races check your gaskets and the black plastic insulator for leaks.

ended up being the coil/igniter. incase anyone else searches for similar issues. weak spark at higher RPM.
