Blowing gas out of vent tube from carb(?)
I have an old gas Club Car that has had a lot of trouble. The line that goes from the carburator to a holding location near the fuel tank is venting quite a bit of gas very consistently. As part of getting this cart in working order I've replaced all of the filters, hoses, the transmission, even took the top off and removed the gas tank to clean it out. Any ideas on why so much gas is being vented?
(Sorry if this is a repeat question, not sure the real name for that vent line.) |

Does the line come off the top of the carb or from the bottom?

It is near the top but on the side facing the front of the cart.

Fuel needle not seating, float might be damaged or need adjusted. I think that line is the overflow for the bowl? Maybe the bowl is filling up too much and fuel is spilling out the overflow.
