96 Columbia Par Car won't start
Hello all,
This is my first posting, here goes: I just traded my parts motorcycle that I don't need anymore for a 1996 Columbia Par Car. Besides a funky paint job I've been having some problems getting it going. I bought a new battery and I got the electric engine part going (obviously the scientific term) i.e. belts turning, lights on. However, nothing happens past that. when I put my foot on the gas nothing. I sprayed some starter fluid and seafoam into the carb intake and it started but I can't get anything more than that. I put fresh gas.... does it need a mix of gas and oil? Also there is a wire coming out of the engine that isn't connected to anything and I can't find any place to connect it (see pic). I was told its a 1996. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance Last edited by 96ColumbiaParCar; 07-07-2012 at 11:34 PM.. Reason: more questions |
