For squeaky springs,grind a bevel on the tips of the leafs.Alot of springs aren't dressed properly,and the shearing during manufacturing leaves a burr along the edge,which will cause a squeak.Just lightly bevel them on the top-side at each end,and the squeak should stop.We see it all the time when springs are done poorly or by someone too lazy to grind them.For the Arch,a shop can reset the arch,but you will need to give them some info,since they won't have info on the springs to look up what the arch should be.Maybe find out the arch of a new spring,or a good used one,and use it as a reference-point.The arch is measured by putting a straight-edge across the spring-eyes,center of each eye,and then measure from the centerline of the eyes,to the top of the pack at the center-bolt.Keep in mind too,that HD springs have more leafs ususally,so the arch will be less than a stock spring,since the additional leaf(s) add to the pack-height,which also raises the cart.Hope this helps.
