Default Most Powerfull Drop in Motor for CC DS?

So what is the most powerful drop in motor for the CC DS IQ cart? Yes, I know you need SC, Sol, etc too. just doing my homework. So far the D&D ES81 is the most hosepower I've found...

Have you called Plum Quick? Don't be fooled by the horsepower rating, some suppliers post Peak HP not continuous HP. First question requiring answered is what are your intentions with this cart? Are you building a race cart, hunting cart, hilly terrain?

Scott, Actually on your post, I looked them up and contacted...the pretty much told me that D&D ES81 would be good for what I'm building. I guess they are more into racing stuff or something.

They did add not to "Stall" it out or run under rough load on law batteries, but I have no idea what "Stall" means on an electric cart. Anyone?

It means keeping the pedal down while the cart is not moving

The "most powerful" motor will also be the slowest mph motor. You can't have both maximum torque and high speed without spending serious money.

Thanks for that CCF. Still looking for the best compromise between wheel spinning, mud slinging, hill climbing torque and speed. Looking for 20+mph top end and getting there fast maintaining speed going up hills, and being able to handle mud holes, deep snow, maybe even snow plowing. with range to get through a hunting day of a few miles of running. The 11hp D & D 81 is the highest hp I've located so far.

That might just be as good as it's going to get like Sportscoupe says "Without spending serious Money."

Electric motors have their HP rated at specific rpms. Sounds like you are looking at a motor that is 11HP peak but at what rpm? That makes all the difference.

I would call Eric or Vic at D&D, they will be able to spec you the exact motor to meet your needs and not kill your battery pack early.
