1998 TXT fuel starved?
My TXT doesn't have near the power that it used to. It will also bog randomly and sometimes I need to pull the choke to keep it going up a hill. This isn't a constant issue but happens frequently. Does this seem like a carb or pump issue?

id say carb try buying some carb clean and spraying it into the carb with the engine running in neutral it will clean up the carb and the valves dont use the whole can or anything but it will not hurt it. sounds like its running lean and thats the bog your experiencing.

Double check your valve adjustment. Pull the fuel line off the carb and hit the pedal. It should spurt out nicely. If not your pump could be faulty or filter clogged. Lastly, pull the carb and thoroughly clean it. I usually disassemble one and soak it in a gallon can of carb cleaner. Blow it out well and reassemble.

I removed the carb and cleaned it. Seemed like the pilot jet was at least partially plugged. Tiny piece of debris came out when I blew through it. Hopefully that helps. Haven't had time to try it out yet.

Also... 1 of my vent tubes was bent in half (lodged in between carb and fuel line). Would that cause problems? I would imagine that it serves a purpose and should be fully open.

It ran in neutral. It always did though. I'll drive it tonight to see if there is more power.
