1989 gx444
Hello. I just picked up an old GX444. There is not a battery in it. What size, voltage, amps sould I buy for this machine?? That is just step one. I have ot source a fuel pump aw well.

Regular group 24 car battery from walmart will work. As far as the pump, should be able to locate one with the site sponsors pretty easily.

It's known as a Marathon. If you have a single spark plug on top, it's a 2 stroke 3pg engine. Any car battery that fits in there is fine.
If you have a single spark plug sticking out the driver side down by the muffler, it's a 2 pg 2 stroke engine. I suspect that you will need more than a fuel pump. http://www.golfcartking.com/SearchRe...l+pump&Submit= |
