Default tire size

will 12" rims with 215/40-12 tires fit on a stock Precedent without lifting? these are the Nitro Mad Jax tires just a fyi! trying to figure out what is the largest tire i can put on a Stock Precedent?

Yes they do, here is my 2010 Precedent with 215-40/12 tires on 12x7 centered wheels.

You can see the clearance with medium duty leafs on the back.

The front only has about 1/2" when the wheels are all the way to the right.

215-40/12 wheels

Serigo did those take any torque from your cart. I'm trying to debate building gas street cart or a 48v street cart. if i go electric I'm going with the stock setup from club car adding a bandit motor with these tires. keeping the build at 3k.

There is not much difference in size from the original wheel, I really could not tell any difference in speed or torque.

yeah i just like the smooth ride of the factory set-up. plus the take off speed with the smaller tires vs the 22" tires. I was hoping to get the response you posted. Thanks!
