Default TXT oil

Looking to change the oil in my 1998 TXT Freedom. Have an oil filter but not sure what oil to use. Thinking of a synthetic blend but not sure of weight.

Good thing I asked. I would have put straight 30 in it.
Not sure why I put Marathon in the 1st Q . It's actually a Freedom.

I don't think you would have hurt it with 30. Better that than none! lol

If the cart is lifted only put 1.5 qts in it and scribe the dipstick once you've put that amount in it. If not lifted get 2 qts and fill it until it hits the factory mark on the dip stick

Because if its lifted the angle of the engine changes to the point that anything over 1.5 qts will cause it to blow out of the crankcase vent and into the intake/airbox. People always ask on here why they have oil in the air box and that is almost always why.

I'm a little slow but I figured it out. I thought how the hell can lifting make a difference if you lift both ends the same, this guy is pulling my leg.
I was doing something outside & noticed my scooter sitting there. OOOOOOOOh , the engine is mounted on the trailing arms just like the scooter engine is the swing arm.
