Default 1991 EZGO marathon takes off!

My cart has a mess of wires and lights and yesterday I started to try to clean them up.
I removed the lights and looked at the wiring diagram but I'm a novice at best.
Here is my current problem.
After I removed the light wiring the cart immediately accelerates when I turn on the cart.
1. I put the key in the switch
2. I turn the switch to either forward or reverse
3. In forward or reverse it immediately goes full acceleration without touching the gas.

Throttle is stuck down somewhere. Cable pedal or at the carb.
Start at the pedal and make sure its all the way up.
Then the carb and see if the spring is on the right place to pull it closed.

The microswitch at the end of the pedal lever sounds like it is stuck shut.

Where can I check it, or how can I identify it?
The wiring is a real mess.

The throttle has to be open start at the pedal. Is it down? Pull it up.
Look at the carb butterfly. Why is it open? Something is holding it open.
Check under the cart at the pedal and make sure nothing is holding it open down there.
Is it on jacks?

Electrical will just keep the ignition on and let it possibly run at idle.
Taking off at full throttle is a mechanical issue. Possibly a wire physically holding the throttle open.

Thanks.
Partially fixed. There was a clip keeping the lever at the carb open. Moved the clip now it still runs when I turn it on but not taking off.
Is there a simple way to adjust it?

The throttle, pull up on it. Do you hear a click?
Push down slowly do you hear a click? This is the micro switch.
If you pull up and hear a click, turn on the the key while holding up.
Does it still auto start?
If it does you are feeding power around the micro switch somewhere.
If it does not you still have a mechanical issue holding the throttle open.

When you say throttle you mean gas foot Pedel?
Yes I hear a click when I push down the gas pedel and then let it come up.
About hald way up a small click.
It seems to only click when coming up after I push it all the way down.

It sounds as though the pedal micro switch is stuck. Its in the pedal box. You could remove your starter belt while you trouble shoot the circuit. I have included the service guide for your cart. With the key on and the pedal at rest, there should be no power on the wire to the solenoid from the accelerator limit switch. If its showing power then the switch is stuck.

Not sure how to check it as the diagram is a little confusing to me.
Can you be a little more specific ?

One other thing. I keep blowing my fuse that connects the key switch to the battery and F-N-R switch.
