Yamaha Drive Black Roof

I have been thinking about trying the plasti dip route. The worst case is I end up with a roof that looks bad and I put a new black one on anyway. I know some people have had success spraying it by thinning the 14.5oz containers with Xylene.

The only thing I am not sure about is if it will peel driving under tree branches etc. Either way the black one is about $215, but is back ordered until mid November I am being told. The cost is not too bad, relatively close to the other options I have been finding.

the local truck accessories store by me also sells carts... seen one where the whole body and roof were done in Line-x.. looked cool and you don't have to worry about scratching it..

the price for all their used carts were way high though...

I use vinyl die to paint my tops, Works great and looks like it came that way, I use the satin black

Just wondering if anyone can check on the back order status of these for me if they get a minute. Mine was supposed to ship out this week, however I just got an email saying it will not ship until late Jan 2016 now.

Did the dates for these really slip that much or am I just getting a run around?
