Default G22 crankcase oil leak

Help!

My G22 has developed an oil leak around what appears to be the crankcase gasket. All bolts are tight but i can see oil seeping out around the gasket when i accelerate. Is this gasket a common problem or should i be prepared to find a broken case in there when i start taking things apart? All help appreciated. Thanks.

I had a Yamaha mower at one time that used the same engine and it developed a leak at the same gasket. I replaced the gasket and never had anymore problems with it.

Did you take the motor apart and fix the leak

Yes I did! The gasket had worn out resulting in a leak. Was a much easier fix then I expected. Ordered a clutch puller before I tore into it and things went very smooth.
