Talking My New Build 2012 Yamaha G29 Gas

Well hello everyone I recently sold my 09 G29 electric in favor of a gas model. Couldn't see spending so much for 1 tricked out so decided to buy a fresh off the course one and build it my way. I plan to upload pics and document details in case anyone decides to go this way. Bought it Saturday ruined it the wife said on Sunday and maxed out the credit card Sunday afternoon! HAHA! Going with 3" lift, 12" rims with 22" tires, back seat black, new front seat black, have not decided what color yet (need ideas), and calling Plowman for full kit at lunch time one more credit card to go! Standby for updates.

Sounds Awesome.
Im planning on doing the same thing except i cant find a cart for a decent price.
Everyone wants $3100-$3300 for that cart in south Georgia!

Occasionally i see them on craigslist for $2200-$2500 but they are usually 2-3 hour drive.

Didn't get much done today T-storms kept me indoors. I did however cut out the headlight and tail light holes in the body before prepping for paint. It turns out Yamaha has the places marked on the underside of the body i am attaching pics. I cut the holes with a rotozip it made quick work of it. Paint color has been decided going for 2 tone blended edge metallic black and orange including paint codes and materials used during process. A lifetime ago before becoming an IT Analyst I did autobody work for 15 or so years so pretty straightforward. Tomorrow will be prep day I'll start by sanding body with 220 grit paper, putty any imperfections, and apply 2-3 coats of primer pics will follow. Using Dupont products Nason primer and clear, Chromabase basecoat, paint codes are going to be GM WA501Q Carbon Flash (Black Metallic) and WA502Q Inferno Orange. Stay Tuned for updates .................. Finished cart is look I am going for.

Good Evening fellow cart addicts. Figure I should share some progress as I finished painting the Yamie today. It turned out real nice been awhile since I ran a gun but kind of like riding a bike. Sanded and primed Tuesday and weds., today shot both colors of base and 3 coats of clear. Brown truck, post office and express been delivering boxes all week and I somehow managed to wrangle a 3 day weekend from work.
