Default G1 2stroke won't turn over

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and the golf cart world. I have a G1 2stroke and I had just rebuilt the motor and it ran great! I went out and jumped back on and it turned over it just wasn't firing the plug. That was my first issue. So I just pushed it into the garage and went back out today and now it doesn't do a thing, doesn't turn over, no solenoids click absolutely nothing. I checked my battery and it's good and I have power to the key switch and power to the stop switch but that's as far as I've gotten. Looking for any help and or tips. Thanks!

First, check the positive fuse and fuse holder (just to the left of the battery). Second, check the negative fuse and fuse holder (just behind the solenoids). TMight also want to check the red (positive) lead form the battery that plugs into the main wire harness.

I checked those three things first! And it also has power at the ignition switch and power to the stop switch. I haven't checked power coming back out of the stop switch because I'm not sure which wire should be hot. It's a four wire switch.

You can jump those solenoids to just bypass everything to see if the car will crank, if it cranks, then you know, starter, battery, the motor itself is all good and you have a control issue of some sort. Did you check battery under a load? if not do that.

I've given up and am at the end of my knowledge. Going to pay someone way to much to fix it for me

go to the garage section and look for the g1 service manual. clean all cable ends of corrosion. they are steel and corrode after years of use.
