1999 G1 wont run
I have a 1999 G 1 that would spit and sputter. I cleaned the carb well cleaned spark plug replaced fuel filter and checked the fuel pump its pumping gas. Ran for a bit with the choke on and quit again. Any ideas?

Re: 1999 G1 wont run
You need some process of elimination as well. Are you getting consistent spark?

Re: 1999 G1 wont run
yes it seems to be a fuel issue. The fuel pump is pumping. How much fuel should be coming out with each pulse?

Re: 1999 G1 wont run
They don't take much fuel a small stream is fine when you say you cleaned carb did you take bowl off and pull out jets and blow are through them and made sure float wasn't sticking?

Re: 1999 G1 wont run
These things run well over a hundred miles on a (around 6 gallon) tank of gas, just a little spurt of gas each time the engine spins is all you should expect.
