Default 2000 G16 Carb rebuild

I was asked to look at a fellow campers Yami G16 golf cart because it wouldn't start. I'm an electric CC guy so the Yami is foriegn to me. However I'm no stranger to internal combstion engines. Found lots of gas in the oil. Float obviously stuck and flooded the crank case. Took the carb off to rebuild it. The only problem is I can't find a rebuild kit anywhere for this Mikuni carb. I can only find after market replacements. After searching through older threads I on;y see people talking about rebuilding them, but no one mentions replacing them. So here are my questions.

1- Are carburator rebuild kits available anywhere? If so from where?

2- If after market carbs are my only options, who are the trusted suppliers/brands?

I would have a hard time believing that I can pick one up for 20 bucks and it not give me tuning issues. All sugestions and advice welcome. Thanks!

This is the only rebuild "kit" that I know of. It says G2-G9, but the parts for the G16 are the same. The are OEM Yamaha parts.

Here is a breakdown of the carb. http://www.tntgolfcar.com/yamaha-par...5_454_573.html

Searching for the individual parts and rebuilding the original carb is much better than replacing it with a $20 chinese knockoff...
