Awhile back I got a pair of carryalls.... the little shorty is one I'm rehabbing now. It came on 3 flat tires and a front axle on the ground.... blown motor. A thoroughly abused golf course maintenance cart ......

Re: 2001 carryall 1 rehab
Today I replaced the front end bushings. These are the little rubber or neoprene bushings CC uses at all of the pivot points in it's A arm front end. If you have a sloppy CC front end or you jack up the wheel and it easily moves around .... these little neoprene bushings are the culprits.
There are 4 pivot points on each side. Each pivot point has a 2 piece bushing. The 4 in the leaf spring are rubber the rest are neoprene. These are simple to replace with hand tools and a solid mounted vice for pressing the new ones in. I also suggest the use of a grinder with wire wheel to clean up the bolts and parts for reassembly.... |

Funny you asked I put an older motro 290 in it and the whole 'forward for reverse thing' aint gettin' it ... so now am in process of rebuilding the original......dis-assembly will take place this afternoon. We will mic all cylinder and crank and see what we have to do to get this little shorty going.......
