Default Street Legal Kit Setup

I decided to install a street legal kit on my 2015 RXV and after some research (though not on this site) this is what and how I installed the kit:

Installed a voltage reducer 48 to 12 volt - connected on the same place as the leads to the motor

Installed a blade fuse block which is powered via the voltage reducer

Installed kit which includes: Headlights, taillights, turn signals, hazards and a horn - kit had a wiring harness and I connected it to the fuse block

I added a USB charging port and connected it to the fuse block

It has been a little over a month since I have finished the install and have had no issues, but with reading some of the posts I thought it would be a good idea to reach out and see if modifications are required for long term usage.

Thanks!

Your #1 battery is pack + and the last battery is #6 pack - battery.

They should also be where the charger wires hook to. This is full pack voltage.
Check yours with a meter but they should be on passenger side of cart.

I like to run another contactor are solenoid off the key switch that will turn everything off when I turn the cart off are turn it on. If you don't have the reducer with the extra wire for the key switch all your accessaries are hot all the time.

Thanks, that is where I have it connected. Did not think about the switch may consider that.
