No, I'm sorry but I didn't get to it this weekend, too many things going on at the same time and one of the wife's close friends in the hospital not doing good. I will keep you posted on the progress.
I did get the new controller in but I am not going to install it before I change the wires out and repeat the same test again. I got the new ends for the cables, heatshrink and have plenty of cable, just short on time.
I know, nothing but excuses and they don't help you a bit.
I promise that I'll post back here when it happens.

Update, I've started changing out the cables in the cart this morning and as many of you already know, it didn't make much, if any improvement other than I know that I have good cables on the cart now.
Battery voltage was 38.48
On flat ground was getting 13mph and once saw 14 but it was brief
Up hill on driveway it was mostly 8mph and saw 9 for a second.

Now to install the new alltrax 500 that I got from ScottyB

Hey Dwalls the alltrax 500 you are going to install. Are all your other components stock?

So far I have upgraded the battery cables to 1/0 all the way to the controller and from the controller to the solenoid. I am hoping to get the rest of the cables on the F/R to the motor made up and replaced this weekend, I have the MZJ 400 amp solenoid from Scotty and just ordered the super duty F/R switch and 48v Lester summit II charger and diodes and so that I will have them when I go to the 8v batteries. Then I will start talking about motors and which one I want for our needs.

Any and all suggestions on motors are appreciated. Live in north Alabama and there are some hills so I don't think that a speed motor will work best but I would like to be in the mid 20's with torque if possible, minimal lift is desired so I don't want to get the speed with larger tires and hurt myself on going uphill. Not talking about climbing extreme hills with this but it drops from 13mph on flat to 8mph up my driveway to the shop.
