Looking at 1991 Club Car - Needs air filter housing.
My wife and I are looking at a 1991 Gas Club Car in decent shape. I am somewhat mechanically inclined but no very little about golf carts. It is missing all of the air filter housing parts from the carburetor to the choke.
The seller started the cart and ran it for a few minutes. It ran great, but I hate to see it run without an air filter. I have been looking for the parts online with little luck. Is there a place to find used parts? Is there a work around? My thought is that I will need the choke in cooler weather. Any advice appreciated. |

You will likely not be able to find the original air filter housing pieces from a retailer. They're discontinued. What you want is an air box that fits 1984-1991 Club Car DS gas carts.
This member had one. May still have it? But he hasn't logged in for a while: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/golf-...te-system.html |

Thank you for the lead. He had it and lives about 50 miles away!
All the parts I need except for the bolts that attach the air filter housing to the carburater. Can anyone tell me the bolt size. Thanks in advance.... Last edited by buckeye_hunter; 07-04-2019 at 05:52 PM.. Reason: Update |

The hex two bolts that mount the air filter base to the carb are 6MM x 25MM.

Thank you! On an island, so trips to the hardware store are few and far between!

Thank you so much. From what I have been told, these parts are getting as rare as hens' teeth!
