89 club car ignition coil replacement
How do I go about changing the ignition coil on an 89 clubcar???
Looks complicated. Thanks |

It's not. Two bolts hold it to the motor (flywheel cover). Disconnect the plug wire at the plug on one end, and the multi-connector and single engine kill wire (black) at the other and it's off:

As long as you got an OEM Kawasaki coil, it will probably outlive your cart. The first one lasted 30 years
If you got an aftermarket coil, We'll keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best, but they don't tend to last very long. |
