Precedent not starting after connecting radio

I was attempting to connect my radio to my key switch and while doing so I was checking voltage of wires to make sure I had the positive and negative correct. I turned and didn’t pay attention and touched my probe between the positive and negative causing an arch. Golf cart not has no power or ignition. Nothing at all. Looked under the seat to see if the fuse was blown. There are two 20A fuses I found. Replaced them both and nothing. Thinking I tried the voltage regulator? Any help will be appreciated!!!

I dunno where it is on a precedent but somewhere in there is another fuse for the ignition switch. Should be a few wires coming from the solenoid and there might be one in a fuse holder near that.

To save some headache when your testing wires again tape around your meter probes so just the very tip is exposed. That will help keep the probe from shorting across circuits if you slip or accidentally touch another wire or terminal, or the other probe.

Some meter leads have removable sleeves that fit around the probe just for that purpose.

Okay thanks for the advice! Anyone else know where this fuse to the ignition switch is on the precedent. I’ve alresdy replaced two under the seat.

I know nothing about precedents - but I will just say that when I first got my DS i had no idea there was a fuse panel in the dash. I'm not saying there is one on the precedents but I would think if the older DS have fuse panels then there is one somehwere?

Thanks for the reply’s I ended up finding another fuse hidden under more wires which was under my seat!
