Well I took the connection off the controller for the speed sensor, sprayed it put it on and off a dozen or do times, and didn’t make a difference, so I guess next step is to remove the sensor, does it matter what the throttle is set at I had it at 75% and turned it up to 85, when I turn off the enable button the thing goes like hell—— I’ll get s mechanic to come in and take the sensor out and make sure it’s ok.

Probably a dead sensor, but could be broken wire or a bad magnet disk.

Canuck2400, since on post #1 you mentioned a case of mistaken identity, make sure the speed sensor is connected to the correct terminal on the Alltrax XCT (not the personality terminal).

Thanks, I’ll double check that— I remember now someone said it will fit in 2 different spots —- hopefully that’s it — thanks again

Jeez—- how could a guy that designs and draws house plans not read a wiring diagram properly, I did have the speed sensor connection in the wrong spot, now if I could ask someone how to set the speed graph now, I should be all set, with the settings JohnnieB posted earlier, I’m getting about 2800 rpm, wouldn’t mind a few more, although it’s pretty fast as is. Thanks

What value are using for RPM in the "Speed Limit" setting?

Do You still have the stock motor?

There is no percentage on the speed limit setting, it is a fixed number so set it to 6,000

Only the Reverse Speed and the Throttle rate settings have a percentage value.
