Default Re: TXT gears fit in RXV?

I'm thinking my best bet will be to put in a Curtis controller. I'm wanting cheap(est) and reliable for the bump in speed. Bob, I saw that you had a thread for the conversion. I'm curious what my options are for this conversion. I had seen in a post that you mentioned shipping the controller to you for a tune up. Is that something you offer to anyone? Also, are the conversion kits hard to find or expensive? Any tips or help you could offer with regards on how I should go about this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

He's travelling today, as am I. He should get back to you in a day or two. I am on my return trip home from the first half of the northern reprogramming trip. I stopped in the town at Mammoth Cave in KY for the night. The internet was out until early AM, just now checking in here before I get back on the road. Conversion kits can be bought from E-Z-GO at a high price. They go on sale there from time to time. Better deals can be found elsewhere more often.
