Default Battery Rack Coatings

I know there's quite a few rust inhibitor/converter products on the market that people have used to stop the rust on the battery tray metal, like Corroseal, POR products, etc. And then many people seem to lean towards several coats of a premium paint to prevent future damage. Just curious if anyone has tried to use Plastidip to coat the trays where the batteries sit. It's available in aerosol or brush on, in various colors, and is extremely damage and chemical resistant. Properly applied it is about like bedliner to remove. Or, then again - has anyone tried to coat the racks with Rhinoliner?

Regardless of which product you use, plastidip or paint, you'd still need to use a rust inhibitor on the bare metal to prevent any further damage. POR15 or at least Rustoleum would be the ticket, then Plastidip or Bed liner spray would work just fine.

When I was young, in the northeast, undercoating was a must. Zebart was big.

I have used plastidip. It is nice. I am going to go to use rustoleum undercoat.
