Model year of my club car
I bought gas club car and the guy told me it was a 04. I found the data tag and it was manufactured in 12/03. Do they just consider it a 04 or is it actually a 03. Reason I ask is it blows smoke once in awhile and I figure it needs piston and rings. Then I got to thinking maybe just swap out the fe290 with a bugger motor. More power haha. Thanks in advance.

04 model built in 03. Probably just needs valve seals. Can be changed in the cart without removing the motor.
