Default Carts on but will not move

Hi,
i have an Ezgo 2007 PDS 36V model. Turn it on (in run mode) put it in forward and hit the gas the Solenoid clicks but, there is no movement. The reed switch has been bypassed the throttle pin is set at 17/64. There is a New Speed controller Alltrax 500 XCT 48500 (programed on EZGO ITS) and New Solenoid Curtis Albright SW180-500apms.

Batteries are charged. Here are some photos. Would anyone have some ideas?

Cheers,

Remove the pre-charge resistor that is connected between the solenoid's large terminals.
Replace it with a 6A6 diode or similar 6A-660V diode. Banded end faces the battery side large terminal.

If that doesn't fix it, check the status LED for error codes, or plug in laptop and look at monitor screen for errors.

--------------
You need new high current cables, all ten should be 4Ga or thicker.

Also the auto watering system is a bomb waiting to happen.

Throw it away and get regular battery caps.

You can test it just as soon as you remove the precharge resistor. The diode can be installed later.

The purpose of the diode: If something causes the solenoid to de-energize while regenerative braking is occurring, the voltage from the motor acting as a generator, will skyrocket and can over volt the XCT controller.

My cart came with that same watering system. I just cut out all the tubing between batteries and left the tubing connecting the three battery caps together to keep them together when I take them off.

I replaced the resistor with the diode but, still getting the same thing. The solenoid clicks when I push the gas and releases when I let go. I’m trying to find a PC with windows so I can run the Alltrax software.

The Alltrax is giving me the “battery under voltage” 1 Green and 2 Red LED Flash.

I’m not sure where to start next. Test the motor? I’m going to Toronto today will pick up 2ga cables.

What’s your pack voltage and how old are the batteries?

If you are using a Mac (like me) you can get the trial version of Parallels desktop and download Windows 10...

Not sure on the batteries age but, the pack was at 36.8.

Sweet I will download Parallels!

The watering system caps do they just pop off or unscrew? What is the best way to get them off?
