I think I bought a Frankenstein need some direction in parts
I picked up a 2000? Txt 36volt series mfg code D200 from a friend the other day that has half decent battery life.
I was looking at what I needed to upgrade to 48 volt. The controller board is an older 700 amp 48v D&D the silver one. The forward reverse looks to be original The solenoid is a 36 volt 200 amp The motor is an aftermarket upgrade. All I could read was 36v on the sticker. I'll get the motor numbers later. So at this point, am I correct that all I need is a 48 volt solenoid, a forward reverse that's capable of 700 amp and a 48 volt charger and of course batteries since I want to replace them anyways. Anything I'm missing? Any suggestions on parts? |

You need to make sure the controller can take 48 and I would suggest a contactor setup for the fnr. SW202 would be a good choice.
