Under controller cover it tells you how to unlock brake try that to see if that will unlock it. I believe you plug 1 into plug 3 but read it to make sure. If it does that doesn't mean your brake is good I thought I better tell you this first.

yes, once I plugged 1 into 3 i could hear the brake release and was able to push the golf cart.....as soon as i plugged them back together it locked again

Could be not passing the start up test. Do you have the Troubleshooting Guide?

we did this test.....never seen the volts go from 0-5.....pretty much hung out around 1.5-2 the whole time....

I will say i had to use the emergency override to get the back tires to rotate....

are we thinking its taht senson?

Wish we could put a handheld on it to see for sure. That sensor if it's a OEM runs well over $100. A aftermarket runs about $40.
