Lift height and tire size for driving cart onto trailer
On my last cart I had a 6" SGC Lift and 23" tires that enabled me to drive the cart directly onto a single axle landscape type trailer with about a 5' fold-down gate. Anyone have experience with other lift/tire combinations and the required lift clearance to be able to drive on to a trailer from flat ground?
I want to get the minimum lift/tire size required but still be able to drive on to the trailer. Was wondering specifically about a 4" lift with 20" tires or 6"lift with 22" tires. Cart is a 2009 Club Car DS (Gas) Rick |

Re: Lift height and tire size for driving cart onto trailer
I’ve driven tons of stock height and stock tired carts onto my 5x8 with gold down gate no problem.
The longer wheelbase like a carryall 2 can rub a bit in the middle of the cart as it goes up, but regular DS I’ve never had a problem. |

Re: Lift height and tire size for driving cart onto trailer
Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going with Jake's 4" A-Arm lift with 12" wheels and 22" tire. I think it should give me the clearance I need based on what I've read.
