Rubber Engine Snubber Replacement
When i use my floor jack under engine plate...i raises the whole cart instead of just raising in the front to put the snubber in....what am i missing?

I just put a 6 inch lift on it...thats when i noticed engine snubber was missing..

You'll need to make an extension for the bracket. If it's pinned against the lower part of the frame it will eat snubbers like candy because there's too much pressure pushing down on them, and it can also break the lower tab off the frame.
Usually a 1/8" piece of steel with bolt holes about 2" to 2-1/2" apart is enough. If you have the old style cradle where the tab is welded on then you can either make a new tab and weld it on to the cradle or or drill a hole through the tab and one through the frame and use a sway bar link kit like the ones Ford and dodge like to use. |
