EZGO Workhorse will not start
Hi new to this site and hope you can help. Parked my cart a week ago and now it will not start. Turned key lights go on pressed pedal and nothing, box goes up & down horn works. Cleaned battery posts & wires + & - sides. Battery is fully charged.Where should I look first ??

Check ground connections or if ground is adequate. Jump the solenoid and if it starts, then its a solenoid problem. Check key switch if there is continuity. And check for busted/blown fuse.

Thanks will give that a try. Not sure how to jump the solenoid but will check grounds ,fuse & switch first. thanks again

To jump the soleniod, get a 6 gauge wire/cable and touch the two big poles .

Is the soleniod located under thr plastic cover next to the battery????

Had same problem with my workhorse after checking everything it turned out to be a 4 dollar microswitch located by the accelerator under the plate.

Update, thanks for all the info. Found a broken wire at the fuse for solnoid. Thanks again. workhorse is operational again.

Glad to be of assistance. I have a 96 EZGO workhorse. I also have a couple of Yamaha G2s and a G1. Going by some experience.

I have the same problem, tomorrow or next day I will try the solenoid bypass.
