Lifted Marathon Brake Cable Problem
I put a 4" lift kit on my 1992 Marathon. Now, my brakes are too tight. I press the foot pedal and we all go flying forward and it skids. I tried loosening the adjustment screw by the main big spring up by the pedal. Then the brake didn't work at all. So I tightened it some and it still throws us.
Do I need new brake cables? If so, how do I shop for them since I obviously wouldn't be using stock cables? Thanks. |

Re: Lifted Marathon Brake Cable Problem
I don't have a lifted cart, but if you can get them to work "too good" and adjust them to not work at all, seems like adjustment is all they need.
The service and parts manuals are available in the stickies and have very detailed adjustment instructions. Assuming the lift doesn't change things, which someone will come along and answer. |
