Re: Club Car Project #2
I had to put flares on my Precedent after 1st weekend of hunting. Not especially attractive on the Precedent.

Re: Club Car Project #2
I had flare's on my other cart and they lasted 2 weeks. Very brittle. They cracked after I bumped into them. Poof there goes $110. Are you aware of a Strong Flare on the market?

Re: Club Car Project #2
I would have to agree on the flares. Just added mine and the mud getting on the side of the cart or on us was significantly less now......

Re: Club Car Project #2
I did cover the seats myself. Picked up 3 yards of black vinyl at Hobby Lobby for under $15. Pretty easy, just peel the old cover's off and use them as a template, stretch and staple the new vinyl to the plywood backing.

I have the new Alltrax SPM 600 amp controller purchased through Cart's Unlimited. The motor is currently stock. I might add a D&D in the future. I will post more pictures of under the seat in a few day's.. Out of town on business until Friday..

Re: Club Car Project #2
Mine seem to be pretty tough. Though I am sure if I hit something immovable, like a tree, right on the flare, I am sure they'd get cracked as well. I suppose it's a trade off. Mud all over every time it is wet ( pretty much all season last year) or occasionally having to replace flares.
