Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
PDS carts also have push button F and R switchs not levers...I believe you may have a Series cart, not a PDS In which case there is no switch for run/tow. That is a good thing in this case though...so the faint click your hearing...is it coming from under the floor mat or from under your seat beside the batteries?

Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
best thing to do is listen closely with the seat lifted and see if the click is coming out of the black box on the passenger side of the cart next to the batteries...that would be your solenoid clicking...if its not clicking it will tell us alot more about how to diagnose

ok. I will do that this afternoon. If the solenoid is not clicking I am assuming I would have to replace it? It is just really funny because everything was working before I took the batteries out.

No dont assume its bad...a wire could have got pinched or pulled off preventing it from clicking...but its a starting point..

hey come to think of it, the round clip that fits on the positive battery pole has a small piece missing. Could that be the problem?

Just out of being curious, if the solenoid is not clicking....and you have a series cart? Does the entire cart seem to be dead, if so I would check on bypassing the read switch and see if things come back to life.

No clicking under the seat. It is at the pedal

Re: My 2006 TXT will not move.
in that case I would first try what husker said...follow the rod thats under your seat that the forward and reverse lever moves. It will lead to a black cover that can be removed with a flathead screwdriver. After removing that look for the microswitch closest to the batteries and there should be a red wire connected to it. remove that wire and in its place run a jumper wire from there to your main battery positive. then try cart again and let us know results.
