Changing a series TXT from 36v to 48 v info needed
I have seen that it is possible to change a Ez-Go series txt cart from 36v to 48v. What all has to be done to do this switch? I tried to do a search on it , but found nothing.

You will need a controller rated for 48 volts, a solenoid rated for 48 volts, and a new charger that will charge 48 volts.

You will not regret doing it. Best upgrade there is for a series cart in my opinion.

Did you build a cover? I've got the flip rear seat so it would kind of be covered... After adding the weight of the rear seat to my '95 36 volt series ... it has really slowed down... I'm getting around 12 mph flat ground and 7-8 on slight incline... |

Mine has a rear flip seat now too and I just cut a panel and mounted over the batteries.
