What length of cables did you use for the two long ones going to the bagwell? The autoparts store has some 24" battery cables for a starter, will those work?
Thanks, Redfro

I lost count of the # of times it has been posted that automotive cable and golf cart cable are not interchangable.
A car is 12v 30 amps maybe a little more?
A golf cart is 36v and 1350 amps. Yes they both have batteries but the similarity ends there. Bottom line here is you will need welders cable not automotive battery cable for your upgrades or repairs.

It is best if you can add used, similar aged, batteries when putting 2 more into a 4 yr old pack. 1-2 yr old batteries may do better but, new batteries will survive they will be reduced to 4 yr old batteries in just a matter of months due to being recharged with the old ones, hope this helps

Thanks ScottyB. My existing batteries are new, so I'm going to get two more new ones. Any leads on where to buy two
24" 4ga cables for the bagwell?

24 may not be long enough. I use 32" so you can go around this and over that and zip tie it up off the rear end... I make them in 4 or 2g.
