Larger ezgo rivet question

I am re-building a 1996 txt dcs. I ordered the body rivet kit from ezgo. I have a rivet tool that works on all of the rivets EXCEPT the larger silver ones. These are the ones that have ridges all down the long piece, but it is too large to use my tool. The tool does have different heads, but none this big. I thought you might have to hammer it in, but that didn't work. Any ideas? Would using a punch make any difference?

Anyone? These are the rivets that hold the body and cowling on the frame at the bottom.

I put plastic xmas tree fasteners on almost my whole body. They are good enough for a car, so they ust be strong.

Check out harbor freight. They have a couple, fairly cheap rivet guns that will handle those bigger rivets.

I ordered one from harbor freight for the big rivets.

yeah, you just need a bigger rivet gun. Take a rivet with you when you go to get one
