Default Wheel Wobble - bad brake drum????

I had a bearing blowout a couple of weeks ago on my driver's side rear axle. I noticed some wheel wobble leading up to it and thought the wobble was a symptom of the bearing problem. I change the bearings, snap rings, and oil seals on both sides of the rear axle - reassembled, tightened everything up and still had wobble on the rear driver's side wheel. Ugh . . .

So - I figured I'd try to isolate the problem and swapped rear drums / wheels on passenger / driver's side to see if it was an axle or wheel/drum issue. Swapped those and the wobble moved to the passenger side. So - I swapped the passenger side rear wheel with the passenger side front to see if it was the wheel or drum. Passenger rear wheel still wobbled.

So . . . I've got a bad brake drum. Sound odd? I guess I'll just order a new drum and replace - unless someone has seen this before and thinks I need to alter course.

Thoughts / suggestions?

Anyone? Anyone?

Was looking at picking up a new drum from ezgo - and saw the mechanical disc brake kit on sale for $144. Should I just make this change?

Thats an excellent price for those brakes! Note that you have to have at least 10'' wheels to use them.

Yeah - I saw that. My cart is relatively new (to me) and, although I haven't measured the wheels - I'm guessing I'm good to go . . .

Just ordered the kit - guess I've got to make time for another project . . .
