Key and Cylinder Starter
I was wondering if anyone has installed a key and cylinder starter on their cart?
It would make it more like traditional car, in that you would start and shut off the cart using the key. Is there a reason this shouldn't/ couldn't be done on a 09 mpt1200? Will hurt these engines to idle? Thanks! |

Re: Key and Cylinder Starter
Welcome There are kits out there to do this. I think you end up eliminating the micro switch on the foot pedal with a jump wire. The idle set screw needs to be turned in. And there is a spring for the drive clutch that raises the engagement rpm. There are a bunch of guys here with more knowledge that will chime in.
