1994 GXT804 help
Hi everyone, I jst picked up a 1994 GXT804 today. The problem is it needs to be rewired, cables put on, the whole 9 yards. The engine and wheels and rear end are mounted, the rest has to be figured out. If anyone has a manual, pics, anything will be appreciated. It is gas, and regular gas is in the tank... is the only thing i know for sure right now. I appreciate any help.

Re: 1994 GXT804 help
Should be the same manual as a marathon of same year. There are minor differences. is it a stock engine? im not sure what the rest has to be figured out means. it is all bolted together, only the wiring needs to be finished? did someone take it out? Big block swap?
I have a 94 GXT804 also, but most all of the wiring is gone in favor of a diesel with its own wiring. |

Re: 1994 GXT804 help
Thanks. It has a Kawasaki engine in it, it doesn't look swapped but no cables are hooked up. All the wires are cut and I'm sure some are missing. I'm pretty sure some cables and linkages are missing. You know it may have been a swap. This thing has a radiator in the bed. Does yours? The engine looks like it is supposed to be there tho. I'll check the marathon manual, thanks for the info.

Re: 1994 GXT804 help
they came with a Robin 295. or at least mine did and most of the others i have seen.
it sounds like a swap , and you will need to do some homework to finish that up. my original engine was air cooled. can the previous owner shed any light on the subject for ya? |
